
Kathy Cooley brings over 45 years of experience in the field of social work, providing support to individuals across the lifespan—from young children to older adults. Following retirement, she returned to clinical practice to continue her passion for counseling and supporting others.
Kathy utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches, with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based modality particularly effective in the treatment of PTSD. Having incorporated CPT into her practice in recent years, she has developed a strong specialization in supporting individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress as well as Selective Mutism.
Known for her attentive listening and collaborative approach, Kathy works closely with clients to develop personalized and practical treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals. She is committed to creating a supportive and respectful environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring their concerns.
