Elise Altonen, LLPC

Elise Altonen is a Licensed Counselor dedicated to guiding individuals on their mental health journey. With experience working with clients ages 6 to 55, Elise focuses on personal growth and well-being, providing a safe and supportive space for exploration. She utilizes a trauma-informed approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and humanistic principles to meet each client’s unique needs. Elise believes in meeting clients where they are in their wellness journey, tailoring her approach to support their individual healing process.

Elise earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Northern Michigan University and pursued her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. This diverse training equips her to address a wide range of mental health concerns. She draws inspiration from the natural world and believes that an appreciation for both animals and nature are important aspects of living a full and balanced life.
