Bracey Glotzhober, LLPC

 

Bracey is a mental health counselor who has spent the majority of her career working with middle and high school age students.  She has worked as a school counselor for 5 years, principal for 3 and teacher for 9 years.  Her passion is working with teenagers and families to help empower and unlock a person’s true potential.

Through a strong therapeutic and person centered approach Bracey believes that all people are their best experts on their own life.  She has worked with adolescents that have been in foster care, experienced domestic violence, substance use in the home, school avoidance, anxiety, suicidal ideation and teenagers that need help navigating their next steps after high school.  Through this work she has worked with both youth and their families to help the entire system thrive and grow through their challenges.  Understanding the entire system in a person’s life is key to unlocking the barriers and finding solutions and tools to move through those barriers.

Bracey specializes in solution focused therapy, DBT and CBT, mindfulness modalities as an integrative approach to the clients needs.  She has had extensive training in conflict resolution and trauma informed care.  Bracey also enjoys working with families going through divorce, young adults contemplating life changes and families dealing with addiction.  She has a strong passion for healthy families and thriving youth.  She believes in creating an environment that promotes resilience, growth and empowerment for her clients to overcome life’s challenges.
