Amanda is a licensed mental health therapist who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for women ages 18 and older, with experience supporting children and adolescents as well. She views therapy as a collaborative process and strives to create a supportive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow. Amanda is committed to meeting clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences, cultural identities, and personal strengths.
Amanda specializes in concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, parenting, burnout, and suicidal ideation. She is dedicated to helping clients gain insight, cultivate hope, build resilience, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. Amanda incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which explores the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which focuses on emotional regulation and coping skills. She also integrates person-centered, holistic focused, and attachment-based techniques into her work.
Outside of therapy, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and children, being outdoors, connecting with friends and family, playing the guitar, and reading. She would be honored to walk alongside you and support you on your therapeutic journey.
